I guess that it is time for me to weigh in on what is happening across the globe, especially since it seems that Russia may already be attacking Ukraine.

On Iran
Ok, here we go. As I am sure most of you know Iran and a certain Iranian general have been exploding in headlines lately, and in a shameless effort to draw more readers to my blog I have decided to weigh in on this matter outside of social media and memes.

On Religion and Politics
This is something that has been on my mind for a while, and I am just now getting to type it all out. One thing that stands out to me about the Republican Party is that they usually have the vote of the Evangelical Christians, and this vote is very important to them - just look at how Trump went from saying he wasn't a Christian to saying he was born again so he could get the Evangelical vote to become the GOP candidate, and then the PotUS. But, I think the Evangelicals also have a reliance in the Republican Party to the point that they will vote for whoever the Republicans put out simply because they are Republican.

On Politics part 2: Why I Don't Like Republicans
I know my previous post was very, very long. There are a lot more points as to why I don't like Democrats outside of just how they view taxes and economics in general. But that is one of the main reasons. And naturally, when you talk bad about one major party most people will assume that you are in favor of the other major party. For me, this couldn't be further from the truth.

On Politics part 1: Why I Don't Like Democrats
I spent the duration of Lent off of Facebook. This is something that I started last year, or maybe the year before. It is good to spend a little less time using social media and being constantly inundated with information overload. But with just being on Facebook a little over the last few days I have been bombarded by political post after political post.

The Cult of Personality
The world moves at a faster pace than it previously has throughout history. Almost the whole of human knowledge can be gleaned from the Internet, and yet we choose to close ourselves off on public fora to any dissenting views and only allow those things that feed our bias.

The 2016 Presidential Election
Oh boy. Another political post! I felt that this election was a bit of importance and that I wanted to just compile my thoughts into a publicly open format, because the internet is great at feeding narcissism.
